After over 30 years at Hayle Academy (Hayle Community School), Mrs Gutheridge will be leaving.

She has shown great commitment throughout her time here in serving our school community. I am sure the school has become very dear to her heart and she will leave with a great many memories of staff, students, parents and Governors, past
and present.

She has been a key player in driving the school forward ensuring strong values and high aspirations. As a teacher of Maths, Head of Department and a Senior Leader of the school, her contribution has been invaluable.

Many students and staff are indebted to the support she has provided and the time she has dedicated over the years. She has seen hundreds of students grow and develop into confident,
successful learners. Many ex-students remember being taught by her and are grateful for the care that she provided. Students have also enjoyed many events and trips organised by Mrs Gutheridge. Staff are grateful for the knowledge and experience she has shared.

The whole school community is extremely appreciative of her leadership and for making it the very special place it is today. She has contributed to making it a successful and safe environment in which students learn well and their good behaviour is noticed and commented on by everyone who visits the school.

The school wishes her well for the future.
