The Awarding Bodies (exam boards) have now published additional information to support students to prepare for their summer exams. At this time, we fully expect that exams will go ahead in the summer.
The additional information which has been provided is intended to help students and takes account of the disruption that has been caused to their education over the last two years as a result of the pandemic.
The information is different in different subjects. In maths, for example, we already knew that students would be provided with formulae sheets, instead of needing to learn these as would normally have been the case. The additional information we have now been given identifies which topics will be examined on each of the three maths exam papers. In science, we now have a list of topics which will, and which will not, be tested on each paper.
Clearly this additional information provides substantial and crucial support for students. Subject leaders are in the process of explaining to students
what we now know, and using this information to structure teaching and revision programmes.
For your reference, the linked documents on this page are copies of the information provided by the exam boards for each subject.
