At Hayle Academy we aim to create a positive and supportive environment for all pupils so that they achieve success.
As an inclusive school, Hayle Academy removes barriers to learning and participation, provides an education that is appropriate to pupils’ needs, and promotes high standards and the fulfilment of potential for all pupils.

Hayle Academy SEN priorities for 2025-26:
Priority 1: To continue a high level of monitoring of students in lessons to ensure the link between the Individual learning plans, SEN student passports and classroom support and to further support teachers in their inclusive teaching practices for those with SEN.
Priority 2: Further expansion of our outdoor education with the creation of our own in-house Forest School and outdoor classroom.
Priority 3: Continued expansion of our literacy, numeracy, mental health and wellbeing and Neurodivergent interventions to ensure all students are supported to achieve their potential at Hayle Academy and access to skilled delivery of interventions to achieve this.
