At Hayle Academy, we offer competitive sporting fixtures in many sports including; Football, Rugby, Netball, Cross Country, Swimming, Cricket, Rounders and Athletics. We run weekly Hayle Xtra training sessions for our teams, with all students welcome to attend. We take part in friendly fixtures against local schools, County Cup competitions and also England Schools competitions, as well as Cornwall School Games events. Alongside our competitive sports offer is our social sport and “just for fun” events and weekly sessions that include fitness as well as social netball and rounders. All students are encouraged to take part in a sport or physical activity club and are encouraged to then represent the school in an event or competition, however students are also welcome to train without any competition if they prefer.
